How do I manage payment methods and Stripe Link?
Open Billing to add, replace, or remove a payment method. Stripe handles the payment form. Link, Apple Pay, and Google Pay can use details you previously saved with them, so you may not need to type your card number on Bingo Card Creator.
Open your payment methods
- Sign in to Bingo Card Creator.
- Open Billing.
- Find Payment method and select Update.
The method marked Primary is the one used for future subscription payments.
Add or change the primary payment method
- Select Add payment method.
- Choose one of the options shown in the payment form.
- Follow the prompts from Stripe or your wallet provider.
- Leave Make primary turned on if you want to use this method for future subscription payments.
- Select Add payment method.
If the method is already listed, select Make primary beside it.
If your subscription is past due, adding a new primary method or selecting Make primary will retry the unpaid invoice straight away. Check the payment method before you continue.
Delete an old payment method
If you have an active subscription, you cannot delete the method marked Primary. To remove it:
- Add the payment method you want to use instead.
- Make the replacement method Primary.
- Select the red bin icon beside the old method.
If you do not have an active subscription, you can select the red bin icon to delete any saved method, including the one marked Primary.
Deleting a method here removes it from your Bingo Card Creator billing profile. It does not remove the card from Link, Apple Wallet, or Google Wallet. It also does not cancel your subscription.
Why Link can show a card you did not enter here
Link is Stripe's digital wallet. It is shown as Onelink in some regions. It can remember a payment method you chose to save during an earlier Link checkout, including a checkout with another business.
When Link recognizes your email address or phone number, it may ask you to confirm your identity with a one-time code. After you confirm, Link fills in the payment method saved in your Link wallet.
This means you might complete a Bingo Card Creator purchase without typing the card number on our website. The saved method comes from your Link wallet and is shown for you to confirm during checkout.
How Apple Pay and Google Pay work
Apple Pay and Google Pay also let you choose a card stored in a wallet instead of typing the card number into the payment form.
The final four digits shown on a receipt or in Billing may differ from the digits on your physical card. A wallet can use a device or virtual card number to protect the physical card number.
What Bingo Card Creator can see
Stripe handles the sensitive payment details in the payment form. Bingo Card Creator does not receive or store your full card number or security code.
Depending on the payment method, we can see its type and limited identifying details such as the card brand, final four digits, and expiry date. We can also see the transaction and billing information needed to manage your subscription, invoices, and support request.
Remove a card from Link, Apple Pay, or Google Pay
Manage cards saved with a wallet through that provider:
- For Link, sign in at link.com, which may redirect to Onelink. Open Wallet and choose the payment method. Link asks you to make another method the default before removing a default card.
- For Apple Pay, follow Apple's instructions to change or remove a payment card.
- For Google Pay, follow Google's instructions to manage payment methods in Google Wallet.
After changing a wallet, return to Bingo Card Creator Billing and check which method is marked Primary.
Removing a card from a wallet or deleting a wallet account does not cancel a Bingo Card Creator subscription. To stop renewal, follow How do I change my subscription?
If you do not recognize a charge
Check your Bingo Card Creator invoice history and the activity shown by Link or your wallet provider.
If you still do not recognize the payment, contact support with:
- the email address connected to your Bingo Card Creator account
- the payment date and amount
- the final four digits shown on the receipt or statement
Do not send your full card number, security code, wallet password, or one-time verification code.
